Careers Ed. Info, Advice & Guidance

Sawtry Village Academy is committed to delivering high quality information, advice and guidance (IAG), which is personalised and impartial, to all of its students. The right IAG can help excite our pupils about their future lives and raise aspirations about what they want to achieve, especially when it highlights the relationship between what they do now, decisions they make throughout school and the impact that all has on future career opportunities longer-term. Our IAG provision supports students in their progression to Further and Higher Education, in to apprenticeships, and the wider world of work, whilst potentially opening their eyes to professions and careers they might never have thought of. In addition to IAG in the curriculum, ( CEIAG Year group provision) alongside various related events, activities and programmes, Sawtry Village Academy students also receive online IAG resources, accessible 24/7, as well as parental access to online support to help your children to make the best choices.
