Meridian Trust Partnership

In April 2015, Sawtry Community College joined the Meridian Trust (formerly CMAT) and as such, changed many of its values as well as its name to Sawtry Village Academy.

We truly value the success of every child and place the sharing of excellent education practice at our core. We are committed to improving the quality of education and life in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, and their immediate surroundings.

We are dedicated to maintaining our core principles and focus as we grow – sharing the success of the values that were initially developed at Swavesey Village College.

Each academy within the Meridian Trust family retains their own local governing bodies, identity and individuality. The young adults who leave our care are prepared for the next stage of their education and are ready and confident to move forward as responsible, employable citizens.

Being part of the Meridian Trust family provides students with access to a wide variety of opportunities to learn and develop their careers and experiences.
